Objective
Increase searches and reduce bounces.
Problem
The original module content appeared impersonal and "Ready to begin your fitness journey?" was not a clear indicator of what to do next. The question also added unnecessary aspirational friction that could easily feel overwhelming to someone who is simply trying to find a nearby gym (or "fitness center" as required by our company style guide).
Approach
Always start with the user. What might they be thinking during this step in the flow? How might they feel? What did they just do in the screen or step prior to this one? What do they want to accomplish? How can we make it clear what to do next? With answers to these questions in mind, I craft the content and test when possible.
